İzmir Metropolitan Municipality

In the framework of Pastoral Project, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, is planning to make an organization considering Beethoven’s endavours to make awareness on human, nature and environment matters.

In this context, we wish to involve in the Beethoven Pastoral project together with the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra on April 22, 2020, and thus make a good start for the UCLG Cultural Summit that we will be hosting in 2021.

As the April 22 Beethoven Pastoral Project also coincides the 100th anniversary of our April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, we believe that this project will be a good opportunity to underline our dedication to children, future generations and nature.
