The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra enthusiastically joins the Beethoven Pastoral Project. We are proud to unite with our fellow musicians around the world to take a stance on climate change and celebrate the eternal genius of Beethoven.

In Australia we experience the effects of climate change and its impact on the environment as temperature records continue to be broken and our country regularly endures extreme weather events.

We are honoured to play Beethoven’s glorious Pastoral Symphony on UN World Environment Day as we join with you all through music and our commitment to rescuing the planet.
