De-Symphonic

Der deutsche Klangkünstler und Komponist Werner Cee de-komponiert die sechste Sinfonie Beethovens neu: Extra für dieses Projekt entstehen Aufnahmen der Pastoralsinfonie mit dem Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin und dem Deutschlandfunk Kultur. Aufführungsort für die open-air Klanginstallation ist der Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord, ein ehemaliges Hüttenwerk im Ruhrgebiet, dessen Architektur zum Klangkörper wird.

The German sound artist and composer Werner Cee de-composes Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony: Recordings of the Pastoral Symphony are realized especially for this project with the Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin and Deutschlandfunk Kultur. The venue of the open air sound installation is the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord, a former ironworks in the Ruhr area. The whole architecture of the place will be turned into a sounding body.
